The $300 million+ Sea Princess is the third in the line's Grand Class, following
-- and identical to -- Sun Princess and Dawn Princess with Ocean Princess
debuting in 2000 to complete the set. These ships are some of the best designed
-- and most innovative -- at sea. Consider a $3 million art collection, teak promenade deck, 24-hour restaurant, two main showrooms, a state-of-the-art health and fitness center, and 410 cabins with private verandas. Princess Cruises will transfer Sea Princess to UK sister company, P&O Cruises, in Spring 2003. The 77,000-ton vessel will replace the 1,450-passenger Arcadia, which is moving to a new UK cruise line, Ocean Village, currently being developed by parent company P&O Princess Cruises. In her new role, the three-year-old Sea Princess will be renamed Adonia and refitted to cater to P&O Cruises passengers.
